About Invironments Design & owner/designer Jodi Feinhor-Dennis
As a designer, and owner of Invironments, Jodi thrives in creating an intuitive design that utilizes every inch of space and surpasses her client's objectives. Jodi uses her intuition and internal experiences to connect with her clients and to infuse their needs, values and personal style into the design process. Jodi is unique from other designers in several ways; first, she is a full-service designer who coordinates the details from concept to countertops. She takes the stress out of the remodeling process by hiring the architect and the contractor on behalf of the client, while providing all the design details and managing the budget. Second, she is an expert in eco-remodeling and enjoys integrating "green" materials in her work. Third, she manages the budget and timelines to keep things on track. Jodi works with local manufacturers and makes sure every job is as environmentally friendly as the budget will allow. In retrospect, it's easy to see her calling to interior design - as an 8-year-old, while other kids were watching cartoons, Jodi was totally riveted by Bob Villa of This Old House. In college, she graduated Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati in Graphic Design with a Bachelor of Science in Design. Several years later she added interior design to her design studies and graduated with honors from the Sheffield School of Interior Design based out of New York City. Invironments Showroom: an eco-fashionable modern furniture store Jodi opened the doors of Invironments in downtown Boulder during the summer of 2006. The store's concept is to provide modern furniture & accessories for a range of budgets, from affordable to luxury and eco-green, while showcasing eco-friendly remodeling materials. With a fresh, modern aesthetic, Invironments carries exclusive-to-Colorado lines and locally made green furniture. |
